    ​Essential Question: When is it better to use a fraction, a decimal, or a percent?

     

    Objectives:

     

    Write Decimals as fractions or mixed numbers and vice versa

     

    Materials Needed: Student textbook, notebook and handouts

     

    Assessments:

    Observation, Homework Pg. 92

     

    Tuesday: Chapter 2 Vocabulary and Notes. Students will define the key terms for Chapter 2 on vocabulary sheet and take notes over Lesson 1 (pg. 89-91) involving writing decimals as fractions and vice versa.

    Wednesday: Chapter 2 Lesson 1 Classwork/Fluency Practice. Students will practice and master the skill of changing decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals and use the skill in solving higher order thinking questions. (pg. 92-94)
